At Aartava, we collect only the information necessary to provide you with the best period tracking and health management experience:
- Phone number (for WhatsApp OTP authentication)
- Menstrual cycle data you voluntarily log
- Health symptoms and mood tracking data
- Delivery address (for Smart Care subscribers)
- Payment information (processed securely via third-party providers)
How We Protect Your Data
Your health data is extremely sensitive, and we treat it with the utmost care. All data is encrypted end-to-end using industry-standard AES-256 encryption. We never sell, share, or rent your personal health information to third parties. Your cycle data stays on your device and is only synced to our secure servers when you choose to enable backup.

Anonymized usage statistics
After account deletion, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days, except for transaction records which are retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax and accounting laws. Anonymized data that cannot identify you may be retained for analytical purposes.
Your Rights
You have complete control over your data. You can access, export, or delete all your personal data at any time from the app settings. We comply with applicable data protection laws including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Communications
We may send you important updates about your subscription, cycle reminders, and health tips via WhatsApp or in-app notifications. You can customize or opt-out of non-essential communications anytime in your app settings.
Data Deletion
You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered. To delete your account, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account, or contact our support team.
